AIM IN LIFE

A proverb goes that a man without an aim is like a ship without a rudder. So everyman should have a definite aim. Different persons have different aims. Some wants to be doctors, some wants to be engineers and others want to be teachers and' so on. But my aim in life is to be a doctor. There are many reasons for çhoosing the profession of a doctor. The village people in our country are very poor. They suffer from various diseases but there is no qualified.doctor to serve them. There are a few quacks but they can not serve them properly. So I have decided to serve the people of my village through this profession.After obtaining the M.B.B.S degree. I shall go back to my native village and set myself to serve my village people through practice. Since my boyhood it was my cherished desire to serve the nation, I shall render free service to the poor villagers. I shall not take money from them.It is my money from them. It is my determination to set up a charitable dispensary and distribute medicines to the poor free of cost. SuccesS in life depends much on the proper choice of a profession. I believe that I shall be able to reach my goal and serve the nation.

প্রত্যেক মানুষেরই জীবনে একটি লক্ষ্য থাকে। আমার জীবনেও একটি লক্ষ্য আছে। আমার জীবনের একটি নির্দিষ্ট লক্ষ্য হলাে একজন ডাক্তার হয়ে গরিব গ্রামবাসীদের সেবা করা। আমার এরূপ পছন্দের কারণ, আমাদের গ্রামের অধিকাংশ লােকই গরিব ও নিরক্ষর। গ্রামে ভালাে ডাক্তার পাওয়া যায় না। তাই, তারা ভালাে একজন ডাক্তারের সেবা ও উপদেশ পায় না। তারা অনেক রােগে ভােগে এবং অকালে মৃত্যুবরণ করে। তাদের দুর্দশা দেখে আমার হৃদয় গভীর দুঃখে আচ্ছন্ন হয়। আমি এই দুরবস্থা সহ্য করতে পারি না। চিকিৎসার মাধ্যমে আমি তাদের সেবা করতে চাই। এজন্য এসএসসি পাস করে আমি একটি ভালাে কলেজে লেখাপড়া করব। এইচএসসি পাস করে এমবিবিএস পড়ার জন্য একটি মেডিকেল কলেজে ভর্তি হব। এমবিবিএস শেষ করে আমি গ্রামে ফিরে এসে জনগণের সেবা করব। আমি গ্রামের ছেলে। গ্রামের মানুষ দেশের প্রাণশক্তি। তাই গ্রামের মানুষকে সুস্থ রাখা সকলের লক্ষ্য হওয়া উচিত।
