A moonlit night

The night which is bathed by the beams that the moon shed from the cloudless clear sky is called moonlit night. A moonlit night has a splendid and charming look. It is very glamorous. The moon seems to be a silver dish and few sparkling stars twinkle around it. The moon bathes the whole world with her splen did silvery light. It feeds our eyes and rejoices our minds. The emotion of the romantic poet is deeply affected by such surpassing beauty and his lyrical cry is begotten. Nature, bathed in moonlit night, appears to put new garments in a full moon light. Trees and plants, rivers and lakes, meadows and cornfields, roads and avenues are seen to be bathing in the soothing light of the moon. The matchless beauty of the night makes men forget temporarily all the problems, anxieties,sorrows and sufferings, pains and misfortunes and failures. It's a great pleasure and source of recreation for the people. A moonlit night is welcomed by all.

মেঘমুক্ত পরিষ্কার আকাশ হতে ঝরে পড়া চন্দ্র কিরণম্নত রজনীকে জ্যোৎস্রা রাত বলে। জ্যোত্সা রাতের থাকে আঁকজমকপূর্ণ আনন্দমুখর দৃশ্য। ইহা খুব মনােহরী। চাদটাকে মনে হয় রুপার থালা এবং কিছু জ্বলজ্বলে তারা এর চারপাশে মিটমিট করে। চাদে তার রুপালি আলােয় সারা পৃথিবী সিক্ত করে। ইহা আমাদের চোখ জুড়ায় এবং মনকে আনন্দ দেয়। রােমান্টিক কবির আবেগ এই অসীম সৌন্দর্যে আরাে গভীরভাবে প্রভাবিত হয় এবং তার কাব্যিক তৃষ্ণা জাগ্রত হয়। চন্দ্রালােকে সিক্ত প্রকৃতি জ্যোৎস্নায় নতুন পােশাকে হাজির হয়। গাছপালা, নদী-হ্রদ, তৃণভূমি, শস্যক্ষেত, রাস্তাঘাট এবং রাজপথগুলাে চাদের মসৃণ আলােয় অবগাহন করে। প্রকৃতির অনুপম সৌন্দর্য মানুষকে সাময়িকভাবে ভুলিয়ে দেয় সমস্যা, যন্ত্রণা, দুঃখ-কষ্ট, ব্যথা, ৫ হতাশা এবং ব্যর্থতা। মানুষের জন্য এটা আনন্দ বিনােদনের একটা বড় উৎস। সবাই জ্যোৎস্না রাতকে সাদরে বরণ করে।
